straight edge systems

I bought a straight edge cutting guide made here in the U.S.A. Excellent system for general work, but  when I was constructing cabinets, I realized the straight edge was in fact not straight. I found the problem during assembly, as there was too much variation in the components,  and therefore I had to work backwards from that point.  The rail deviated by 1/16 of an inch, enough to make cabinet construction difficult. Therefore, the solution was to buy  Festool , and I am quite happy with their system. The rails are so straight, the cuts so smooth, all I have to do is cut the pieces, drill assembly holes and assemble. Trust me, the Festool system is worth acquiring!

I also wasted money on non straight edge system. As I recently new - it happens very often. Thanks for idea to use Festool system!
