Old silver plate
Before I take all my shabby chic silverplate to the charity shop, does anyone have an easy to do refinishing or recycling solution for old silverplate that has been cleaned down to its copper core? I have two large, heavy ornate trays that need a new life - or they're out of here!

There are companies that will replate your silver. There is one in the area around New Britian CT that has done work for a friend and they were bery pleased.

thank you for directing me to a re-silverplating company in CT. I'll be checking out the name, prices, etc., and hope to follow through.
Depends on its installation, (post #175887, reply #3 of 3)
