We are re-doing the bath in our house (Kinda retro) and we are looking for a good source for the 1 X 1 white hexagonal tiles and white subway tiles…Any suggestions?
thanks

Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

The tile scheme you write of is probably one of , if not the most popular, tile installations that I do. The look on the walls is clean and simple yet elegant in a very nostalgic sort of way. You can do a lot of fyn things with the mosaic tiles on the floor as well as you are limited only by your imagination. Just about every kitchen and bath magazine that you pick up these days will have a picture in it of that tile pattern.
Now, to answer your question. Those tiles can be purchased at just about any tile store. Check your yellow pages for a store near you. Places like Home Depot, Lowes, Menards etc. typically do not sell those and their selection for the most part is very limited, in my opinion. However, Home Depot's upgrade sister store, The Expo, does sell those as well as many other tiles. Sears upgrade store (The Great Outdoors?), also has a great selection of tiles.
Good luck . . and enjoy!
