Epoxy Bathtub Restoration
I have a bathtub that has some scratches and a little rust showing through and somehow a weird etching into the glazing.
I'm interested in getting it refinished but have heard that the products out there are not so good, that they scratch easily.
We do not want to remove the tub, it would be way too much work. Does anyone have experience with these products and which product works the best. I've hear some good things about X-I-M's Tile DOC. I'm wondering if that's the best stuff out there and what the other options are.

My MIL had it done (post #191741, reply #1 of 1)
My MIL had it done professionally twice. First time was a great job -- lasted something like eight years in great condition until a tile guy destroyed it. Second job was kinda botched (though not as much as the tile job).
Ya gotta treat the tub with kid gloves after you do it, whether pro or DIY.
