I am changed out an old faucet in the kitchen and have everything attached on the new one except the cold water line. I think I stripped it. Is there anyway to fix this thread instead of taking out the unit and try to repair it that way? This was given to me as a house warming gift and I can’t take it back. HELP!!!!

Precisely what part was stripped??
Can you Google to find the brand and style of faucet and post a link here? There are lots of different faucet styles and the connections are made many different ways.

Youll probably need a thread cutting kit. And you'll probably have to pull the faucet to have enough space to work.
