Has anyone tried interior paints from the Donald Kaufman Color Collection? The website is www.donaldkaufmancolor.com. The collection is apparently high-end, multi-pigmented, and of course, expensive. An architect recommended Kaufman’s books on interior color and then I found out about the paint line.
I have a pretty small house and am thinking about splurging on this paint. Would love to know if anyone has any experience with it. Thanks!

I have used it on quite a few projects but you cannot properly select the color via the internet or over the phone. The nuances DK paints offer can best (only?) be realized by sampling the actual paint, in the room, at various times of day and at night, ideally with the help of a colorist. The paint is incredibly expensive and the learning curve for selecting an exceptional color is very shallow. You would be best served by going to a quality paint store and getting color decks from every brand they sell. Somewhere in there you will have an equivelent palet to DK and at 1/3 the cost. And without the extrodinary expense of the learning curve.
BTW, anyone who recommends a color via the internet or over the phone does not know what they are talking about or is conning you. The room, size, shape, ceiling height; the window location(s); the direction and intensity of light, natural and artificial; and the furniture scheme, scale, texture and color all play a role in paint color selection. This can only be done on site.
Expensive does not mean best, appropriate or even right.
