I always preferred Bennie Moore, in part because they have independent shops. But like everything, they've gone downhill in the past 20 years or so.

Of course, you don't know what you get when you buy from a big box. There's been some pretty clear evidence that the name brand paints carried by HD, eg, are often not the same quality you'd get from an independent store.
I have also been using the same from many years.
Behr is the top rated paint but it really doesn't matter. For many years Walmarts $11.00 a gallon interior paint was the top rated paint. A good dealer is more important than the brand you use.
