Sometimes, when you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.

If it looks better in person, it must look pretty amazing.  It's beautiful.  Good work!

I love it, Fledge!  What part of the house is it in?  How long did it take you?

Time was as I took it, with packing and all.  So when ever I was in the mood I guess.

Are you still planning to sell, now that you have a masterpiece?

Thank you aimless.  Mine is not better, just different.  I don't think I could do what you did.

Yup I am outta this house. Masterpiece, no way.

Next time, if there is one, I wanna do a hunt scene.

Can I count on you for advice?

Of course, can't promise it will be good advice, seeing as how I'm one of those Dressage Queens, but I can probably give some help or resources for pics.  :-)

A hunt scene would be an awesome mural for a library/study room!

oh, my paint did not take to dressage.  I bought her as a fun play horse.  She could turn a good 17 in barrels though.

Jumping, well, that was an elevator ride.  Crow hopping queen.

But...hey....

she could play soccer, say yes and no, and I taught her alot of hand signals.

And of course she could dance.

The new study is what I was thinking...but, guess what? Hubby is an X-bull rider.

I've been watching the barrel racing on OLN.  Pretty cool!  Don't know if I could do that--being a DQ, an' all.  ;-)

And, reining, I really would like to try that.  Not very popular up here, though.

I did seat at, sit at, ride with...a reining horse once.

Louisiana dirt does not taste very well.  A lil tip from me to you.

I have plenty barrel scars.

lol Theodora,

I thought about it this way.  I, we, have worked our butts off in this house.  I have painted every wall, and trim work,  wallpapered, landscaped, [CUTE LITTLE PUPPY]ed and moan.

Now I would like a finished house for the first time in my life.

Yes, I did have fun.

Wow! How long have you been painting? I would like several of those in my house. Very good trompe l'oeil, very very good. Please post more of your work. This is quite inspiring.

Uh, walls? Like that? It's my first.

So, you got alot money? lol...

Seriously, I wonder what people would charge to have this done.  I really did have fun, but it was on a whim.

I wanted to do a jungle sort of thing for my parrot, but, decided since I am selling this house, I should calm it down a bit.

No, unfortunately I have no money, but I would expect to pay about $500-1000 for that if it's your first and takes no more than a week, and double that once you're busy with orders, and ten times that once you become famous, and, well, all my imaginary lottery money is spent, but, 100 times that when you go global.

I am serious, however, in that I find it very inspirational. I may try something similar in a small space. Thanks for sharing.

Have you always been naturally artistic or did you learn that somewhere? At the very least, make your designs into cards to sell.

Wow, ya think?  Don't want to get too high, cuz women or men, with a WHOLE LOT of money, can get very mean.

That would cramp my style. I would have to repeat a very "go to your corner type statement".

:-)

Thanks, makes me feel good.

Oh, to have your talent... I would use that mural as a sample of what you can do. Set an hourly rate you can live with based on the circumstances if you can't determine a project cost. There are pros and cons about going with an hourly vs. a project rate. You might also be able to make money teaching a how-to class, in-person or online.

In any case, you need to know you have a gift :)
