Our front poarch has a 3 ft distance between the face board and the ground. I HATE LATTICE which I have seen  way to much of to cover this section. Any suggestions.

What about a fancier lattice pattern?

I saw this pattern on a Tourist Bureau kiosk in Santa Barbara, CA. The basic unit is just a plank with notched edges. When the planks are arranged into a lattice, the spaces form six-pointed stars.
