I'm an amateur woodworker of 10 years; built about 150 pieces. I prefer American arts & crafts (Mission, G&G) or Shaker as well as Cotswold school (Gimson, Barnsley). The height of my current WW ambition is to build a set of G&G chairs using traditional joinery and hand tools where possible. But I will always use machine tools for everyday stuff. Woodwork is play, for me.
